Description

The ingenious design of the Altoona Double Flight Cage means that you can separate your bird population to keep them safe. Two long, aviary-style cups give you the ability to house multiple small birds, and the two side breeder doors give you easy accessibility to them.

2.5 millimeter bar thickness and 1/2-inch bar spacing keeps your birds safe. The wrought iron frame is durable and non-toxic, so you'll never have to worry about your feathered friends.

This is a terrific cage, and we really felt it was WELL worth its price.
It rolls easily, cleans easily, and we love it as much as our many birds do. They love being able to "communicate" through the (removable) center wall, which stil allows us to separate lovebirds from finches!
We thought the included perches were a bit boring, so we added curvy manzanita perches. The included feeder cups kept falling off, so we replaced those, too. We didn't care, we bought the Altoona for the home, not for the accessories.
Assembly was challenging, as no written instructions were included, just an exploded diagram, but we worked it out and are VERY satisfied with the high quality, heavy construction, the cage's overall beauty (we have Pewter color) and flexibility, and the ease of cleaning.

The cage itself seems to be okay. However, when we first recieved the cage it was incomplete, along with NO assembly directions. When I called the company to get the right parts along with the directions, it took an additional week. The directions that I got were no help at all. It named pieces as "letters", none of the peices came labled. There are four different sizes in screws, AGAIN the directions DID NOT specify which ones went where! It is very aggrivating putting something together that you paid good money for and your unsure if your doing it correctly. After everything was finally put together, there were extra screws and other small pieces that I have no idea where they go. For someone that has never put together one of your cages it was a real pain! I would highly recommend that you put better directions together for your consumers.

Great product. The instructions are extremely poor but now in English (nothing is labelled - "attach back, left side and front with screws... to make cage".) I love to figure things out, so I organized the screws into size categories and guessed what went where by the number of screws provided. It took me about a non-painful hour to put it together by myself.

Great cage to clean. Things come off easily with soap and water. Love the finish. Not too hard to assemble, but 3 of us did it so that helped alot. Assembly took about an hour. I was sweating it considering the comments of some on assembly. No directions really. That's the only con I have. It's exactly what I wanted.
Rated 4 stars and not 5 only because of the lack of directions to assemble.

I chose this particular cage with the divider as I am using one side for my Lovebirds and the other side for mu Cockatiels. We have 5 Lovebirds and 4 Cockatiels and there is more than enough room. Very spacious even with all the toys added. I have no regrets and have already requested to friends.

I have purchased 3 of the single flight cages and have loved them, this time I decided to purchase the double flight. This cage went together with no problems (it may have to do with putting together 3 other cages). My finches love the cage! it gives them the width to fly. You will not be disappointed with this cage!
