        I opened the box and didn't see anything wrong with it, and it looked great. It had many parts and was quite heavy (me being a girl with a bad back) I put it together with ease by myself and after putting it all together found that one of the bars was not welded to the bottom. Too much trouble to take that sucker down and return it. My husband and I own a manufacturing shop, so I'm sure we can get that fixed ourselves. Also, the instructions aren't very good at telling you what screw goes into what, but If you know how to put things together, it's fairly obvious where things go. All and all, a great cage. fun & lots of room to put many toys and perches. Our birds (two parrotlets) are coming soon, so we'll let them decide if it is appropriate for their needs. ;)

        Assembly instructions worthless, poor quality hardwear, one food door broken, one latch assembly defective making one food door unusable, some rust in spots

        was usable with modification and a trip to the hardwear store

        would not recommend to anyone not handy with tools

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          The cage is wonderful. It is very durable and my Macaw is very happy in it. It looks good enough to be near the front room where others may enjoy watching my bird.

          It was a challenge to put together only because I had to do it all by myself. Once it was put together it was worth every effort I made to make the cage.
