For your bird's safety, the bars are spaced 7/8-inches apart, and all locks are bird-proof. A bottom shelf conveniently keeps your bird's food and toys easily accessible. Food bowls are accessible via solid swing-open doors, so you don't have to reach into the cage. Use of the removable grate is optional.
